New Holland–Inchcape Partnership Expands Access to Modern Farm Machinery in Kenya

New Holland Agriculture has officially launched its partnership with Inchcape Kenya, formally appointing the company as its authorized full-range importer and distributor in Kenya. The announcement was made during a launch event held in Nairobi, attended by government officials, industry stakeholders, customers, media representatives, and senior leadership from both organisations.

The partnership is positioned as a strategic move to strengthen access to modern agricultural machinery and support the long-term development of Kenya’s farming sector.

Inchcape plc is a global automotive and equipment distributor with operations across six continents, specializing in high-growth and complex markets. Through Inchcape Kenya’s established local presence, New Holland aims to expand its footprint and deliver improved customer support across the country.

Nationwide Distribution and Aftersales Support

Under the partnership, Kenyan farmers and agricultural businesses will have access to New Holland’s full product range, genuine spare parts, and comprehensive aftersales services through Inchcape Kenya’s showroom and service network. Locations include Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret, and Kitale, covering key agricultural regions.

This nationwide network is expected to improve equipment availability, shorten service response times, and enhance long-term customer support.

Full New Holland Product Portfolio Introduced

New Holland will offer its complete agricultural machinery lineup in Kenya, including:

  • TT Series tractors, combining power and fuel efficiency
  • TT4 Series, delivering robust performance with enhanced features
  • TD Straddle tractors, suited to diverse farming applications
  • TD5 Series, offering advanced functionality and improved operator comfort
  • TS6 and T10 Series, designed for land preparation, cultivation, and haulage
  • High-horsepower tractors, built for demanding operations and increased productivity
  • TC Series combine harvesters, providing reliable harvesting solutions for mixed and small-scale farms

This broad portfolio ensures farmers across Kenya can access modern, efficient, and reliable agricultural equipment tailored to varying operational needs.

Speaking at the launch, Vincent de Lassagne, Vice President – Africa & Middle East at New Holland, emphasized the company’s long-term commitment to Kenya:

Marion Gathoga-Mwangi, Managing Director of Inchcape Kenya, highlighted Inchcape’s expanded role beyond equipment sales:

The launch also received government endorsement, with Ms. Mercy Wanjau, Secretary to the Cabinet of Kenya, representing the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, describing the partnership as a significant step forward for the sector.

“The entry of New Holland Agriculture through a strong nationwide partner will play a key role in improving agricultural productivity and supporting farmers across the country,” she said.
