Ascenso Unveils Next-Generation Tyres for Forestry Machines

Ascenso Tyres, one of the world’s fastest-growing off-highway tyre brands, is breaking new ground in forestry with the launch of its latest high-performance tyre series: the FFB 840, FFB 841, and FFB 843, designed specifically for forwarders and harvesters.

Built for the extreme challenges of modern forestry operations, these tyres bring together strength, durability, and superior traction to keep heavy-duty machines moving in even the toughest terrains. Thanks to their steel-belted bias construction and specialised protective compound, the new FFB models deliver outstanding puncture resistance, reinforced sidewall protection, and a significantly longer service life.

An aggressive tread pattern with optimised lug spacing ensures reliable grip and self-cleaning, while also providing stability on muddy, uneven, and debris-filled forest floors.

“Forestry is one of the toughest applications for tyres,” says Dhaval Nanavati, CEO of Ascenso Tyres. “With the FFB series, we’ve combined durability and innovation to tackle these unique challenges head-on. This launch highlights our commitment to delivering application-specific solutions across the entire off-highway industry.”

The tyres are engineered for mechanised timber handling and are compatible with bogie tracks and chains, giving operators confidence and reliability in diverse forestry conditions.

Initially available in popular forwarder and harvester sizes, the FFB range will roll out across North America, Europe, and Latin America. Backed by Ascenso’s cutting-edge R&D and advanced manufacturing facilities in India, the launch marks another major step in the brand’s rapid expansion into specialty segments — from agriculture and construction to earthmoving, material handling, and now forestry.
