Skretting launches new premium grower feed for farmed Barramundi

In an attempt to aid producers in boosting their operations and harvests, global aquaculture nutrition solutions and services company, Skretting recently announced the launch of their new premium grower feed, Cosmos, tailor-made for farmed barramundi, a widely popular fish in today’s global seafood market

Containing balanced levels of digestible protein, energy, and phosphorous, the product—which has been run through a recent series of trials—has been found to significantly outperform other products in the market, in regard to both growth and feed conversion.

Cosmos aims to achieve optimal levels of fish performance and farm efficiency, including higher growth rates at a lower feed conversion levels. To make this possible, the product has been developed precisely over the past three years and ensures to only utilise raw materials that abide by the group’s global sustainability programme

“These are very exciting times for the barramundi sector and Cosmos is a feed solution that will not only support producers looking to scale-up their operations cost-effectively, it will also help them maximise the value of their fish,” said Leiner Lache, global marketing manager – Warm Water Species at Skretting.
